SRE Blog

About Me

I am a systems engineer (6-year university degree) and I have been working as an SRE for more than 5 years. I have vast experience in infrastructure with analytical experience in problem solving (root cause analysis), automation development and a vocation for working by objectives in interdisciplinary teams (DevOps culture) adapting to the circumstances.

My goal is to be part of a company that allows me to show my knowledge and acquire new ones, leading work teams or being part of them and transmitting the experience and knowledge acquired during my professional life in projects.

I have worked for 10 years as a university professor due to my teaching vocation, which I currently nurture by trying to carry out internal training to improve the skills of my coworkers. And of course, I also have the "hunger" to need to learn more. I have also worked for more than 20 years as a Unix/Linux expert, working on a long journey that started with large physical servers that did not even fit in a single rack, then smaller servers and blades, virtual servers, and ending today with containers that have Linux.

I currently work as an SRE for a startup. And between previous full-time or freelance jobs, I have worked as a DevOps in clouds such as IBM Cloud, AWS, GPC, and other less known ones. I come from the Unix/Linux world with a strong background in automation with Ansible and scripting.
